Both figures are from the original 1st edition 1982 Almond Tea line. MINT IN BOX, FACTORY SEALED ; they have never been opened.
Original factory tape on the top and bottom of the box. Box on left has price tag on front top right corner; its cellophane window is slightly tinted. Both boxes have some light scuffs, marks, dings and edge wear natural for their age 40 years this year!!! Tea Blossom, formerly known as Almond Tea during her appearances in the 1980's series, is a character from the Strawberry Shortcake franchise.
Almond Tea was one of the many new friends met by Strawberry Shortcake during her trip around the world immediately before the 1983 TV special. Tea Blossom is a young Asian/Oriental/Chinese girl doll with dark purple hair and purple eyes. She wears a purple and green cheongsam with cuffed jeans and traditional platform sandals. Her pet Marzipanda Panda, who is said to be a panda royal, a pun of "Marzipan, " a confection made out of sugar or honey and almond oil.
